Delicious French Onion Ground Beef & Rice Casserole

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 cup uncooked rice

2 cups beef broth

1 can (10.5 oz) French onion soup

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite blend)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper.

Drain any excess fat from the skillet.

Add uncooked rice, beef broth, and French onion soup to the skillet. Stir well to combine.

Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil, sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top, and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
