Pineapple Cream Cheese Pound Cake

 

INGREDIENTS:

For the :

  • 1 ½ cups (3 sticks) unsalted , softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup crushed pineapple (drained)

For the topping:

  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices, drained
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • ½ cup brown sugar

For the cream filling (optional but recommended):

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup heavy cream
